A financial services industry specialist throughout his career, Jakob has served as trusted advisor to many of Europe’s largest banks, insurers and asset managers. Jakob studied at the Stockholm School of Economics (Finance & Accounting) and Uppsala University (Russian Language and Eastern European Studies). Simon Gray has over 20 years of experience in the origination, procurement, structuring, execution, financing and management of infrastructure assets throughout Western Europe as well as Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. He has led and completed a large number of transactions across the ports, rail, road, energy, communications and water sectors. Simon was a member of the team that founded Arcus in 2009, and since that time has played a significant role in the management and development of the business. Simon has been a member of the Investment Committee, Arcus’ Management Committee and the Fund Supervisory Board since the formation of the business and was elected as co-Managing Partner in July 2013. Simon led the team that completed the acquisition of Angel Trains in 2008 and oversaw the take-private of Forth Ports in 2011. He also holds seats on the boards of both companies. Prior to Arcus, Simon was the head of Economic Infrastructure at Babcock & Brown (1996-2009). Jayma Pau

Jayma is passionate about the part played by every person in an organisation – from the top to the bottom – to create, and sustain, a healthy culture. This is reflected in her work with a wide range of our multinational organisations, who are keen to explore the purpose of their business in today’s world. In 2010, Jayma set up LQ’s India office in Mumbai, where she lived for two years. She returned to London in 2012, and most recently spent six months seconded to our New York office. Jayma previously worked at ITE Group, a leading exhibition organiser, and spent time in Russia, Kazakhstan, Libya and Mozambique. She also taught English in a French high school and enjoyed a brief spell at the European Parliament. During this time, Jayma started to ask big questions about why people’s lives are the way they are, and why people behave the way they do. This curiosity led her to join Leaders’ Quest in 2007, and since then she has figured out that some questions simply have no answers! Jayma is a Trustee of Child to Child, a charity that, for the past 30 years, has worked to give children a voice and help them to influence their future. Jayma has a French degree from the University of Nottingham. She’s happiest at home, around her loved ones, playing the piano or practising yoga. Ian Harding has over 17 years of experience in acquiring, structuring, financing and disposing of infrastructure projects and companies, primarily in Europe. His experience covers transaction across a broad range of infrastructure sectors including power generation, water and wastewater, renewable energy (wind and hydro), roads, ports, rail & light rail, airports and PFI/PPP transactions. Ian was a member of the team that founded Arcus in 2009 and, since inception, has headed the Debt & Treasury and the Origination Team. As well as being responsible for investment origination strategy, Ian has recently worked on the execution of the asset management strategy for several of the assets of the Fund, including the offer for all outstanding shares (2012) and take private (2013) of Brisa, the equity financing and subsequent sell down for Forth (2011) and several M&A transactions and refinancings for the Euroports group (2010-2013). Ian has been a member of the Fund’s Investment Committee since 2009 and currently sits on the Board of Euroports. Prior to Arcus, Ian was at Babcock & Brown, where he worked extensively on renewable energy transactions in Portugal, France and Spain (2002-2009), Citigroup (1998-2002) and NM Rothschild & Sons Limited (1996-1998) where he completed many successful transactions across all areas of infrastructure.
