Rahma is the Director of Engineering for Restaurants group at Deliveroo. She focusses on helping Deliveroo becoming the best partner for its restaurants and driving growth and profitability for restaurants. Prior to this, Rahma was a senior engineering leader at Wealthfront where she instrumental in the company’s shift from an investment management to the much larger financial advisory space by leading initial products like the 529 College Savings Plan as well as the Portfolio Line of Credit, which generated an alternate revenue stream and was the company’s first foray into cash products. Additionally, she’s also focussed on automation by building a risk platform from scratch. Originally from Canada where she did her schooling from the University of Toronto in both Electrical and Computer Engineering. Along with working at startups and mid-sized companies, she’s worked at larger corporations like Microsoft (wherein she was working in the Windows team) as well as IBM Canada and Blackberry.

Jonathan began his entrepreneurial career at school aged 17 when he founded a web-hosting company which sold within its first year of trading. After developing an early taste of business success, whilst at university Jonathan co-developed a popular music software application that was downloaded by over 30,000,000 people. For his post-graduate studies, Jonathan was the youngest person ever to complete a Masterclass in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium. Following academia, Jonathan joined Zugo in 2008 (a leading search solutions platform and aggregator) that became a cornerstone of distribution for major search engines (most notably Microsoft Bing). In late 2012, Jonathan exited from Zugo and subsequently co-founded Techtopia, a technology incubator located in the heart of ‘silicon village’ in North West London. Dmitro is an exceptional team member and essential Swytch component. He studied Engineering Design at the University of Bristol, specialising in Mechanical Engineering. Claiming to have been cycling before he was walking he loves being able to combine his advanced mechanical engineering practical experience with his passion for cycling and electric transport. Dmitro is a Royal Academy of Engineering Leaders Scholar and worked at Cambridge Consultants, a world leading engineering firm, where he developed ground-breaking electro-mechanical products with some challenging and exciting technical problems. None of which he will reveal to us, although there were rumours of a fruit-picking robot and a precision delivery drone so we’ll have to take his word for that. It was good enough for us and we are exceptionally lucky he has been such a big part of the Swytch product development and will be with us in the future for our next adventures.

After a spell at BBC Television Centre he joined Champion TV, formed to provide the UK’s first satellite sports channel on BSB, as head of sound. He later joined IMG as technical operations manager and was promoted to senior vice-president in 1999. He has overseen the continued expansion of IMG’s studio and post production facilities, culminating in their move to IMG Studios in 2013. IMG Studios is London’s largest facility owned by an independent production company. David has greatly expanded the distribution business of IMG Media, which includes Premier League Football, Rugby World Cup and Wimbledon, among many other properties. David was part of the team to stage the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 and was head of production facilities for the Asian Games in Doha in 2006. He has recently managed production facilities for the Asian Winter Games in Kazakhstan and the 2011 RWC in New Zealand. He was technical producer for CH4’s coverage of the Paralympic Games in 2012. IMG Studios is proud to be the location of the International Broadcast Centre for the 2015 Rugby World Cup. IMG Studios currently provides studios for the Barclays Premier League, the BBC Football League Show and Al Araby, a new Middle East news channel. As well as a busy MCR it provides post-production facilities to a wide range of IMG and third party clients.
