Sage 50cloud

This product was recommended by James Bulllard from Sound Fro

Sage 50cloud is a comprehensive accounting solution for small businesses. As a musician and blogger, I found this software really intuitive and easy-to-use. I am able to be efficient with my bookkeeping because of the convenient, cloud-connected features, such as digital invoicing, online payments, automated bank reconciliation, and Microsoft Excel-based reporting.

The built-in accounting and compliance controls prevent common errors, which is great if you’re like me who only knows the basics. And it’s also remote access so I can use it on my laptop while I’m traveling to out-of-town gigs. I imagine high-level users would love Sage 50cloud’s premium features like detailed profitability tracking, cash flow forecasting, and custom reporting. Security functions that include suspicious transaction flagging, audit trails, and user access settings ensure that your financial data won’t ever be compromised.

Xero is the best small/medium business software on the market. It gives us direct feedback from banks, software applications, and all other of our financial institutions to let us know exactly where our finances stand. It also allows us to track each employee to see who is spending what–if any issues are raised, we are alerted immediately.

Zoho Books GL software

This product was recommended by Bradley K. Ward from The Mission Coach, LLC

I find it very user-friendly, secure, compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adaptable to the size of the business. By user-friendly, I mean clean layout on screen, simple interface, and very responsive customer support. By secure, I mean signatures on invoices and other documents are certified using a certificate issued by DigiCert.

By compliant with GAAP, I mean edits and other changes that affect the GL are required to include an explanation for audit purposes. And by adaptable, I mean it integrates seamlessly with payment gateways such as Stripe and Square, integrates seamlessly with other Zoom applications such as Zoho Sign for document signatures, and can be used as a single entity program or multi-user platform.
