Gaming and Chill

  • Publisher: Gaming and Chill
  • Total Episodes: 194

Gaming and Chill exists because two brothers had a strong passion for gaming, media, and the ability to say “yeah I’m a content creator on the internet.” Unfortunately they were too ugly to be instagram models, too late to be vine stars, and too uncoordinated to play League of Legends. They did however own enough audio-visual equipment to do a substantial amount of damage. Cut back to the year 2013 when these same two brothers met Sam at a mutual friend’s wedding. Sam also had a knack for games, along with the desire to make thing. Today, He works directly with Derrick and Doug. (Michael Bay is getting back to us on that flashback… be Patient.) Now the three of them armed with a Charisma level of 10, audio-visual equipment, and true grit determination; produce content because they really don’t know how to quit. Gaming and Chill is about Video Games, Anime and Manga, Science Fiction, Technology, IRL Skills/projects, and all round tomfoolery. Welcome and thank you all for your support!

DJ SKOOLBOI MIXTAPES

Described by my peers and supporters as passionate. There is a long list of experiences that makes me a highly distinguished artist of my craft. My enthusiasm for musical arts has led me on my adventures as a DJ in rural Jamaica since 1994. I’ve sampled a wide array of musical technology which led me to become the entrepreneur of my first sound system. Myself along with members of the sound; successfully developed a high reputation in our community and even attracted locals from other districts. With the extensive knowledge and wide array of musical genre ranging from Reggae, Motown, Hip Hop, R&B, Soca, and many more; I mastered the arts of mixing at an early age. As the music evolved, I also sought to take my passion on an international scale and improve my skills. I migrated from Jamaica and arrived to the US in 2002 at the age of 18. With my drive to dominate my craft; I was quickly nicknamed “Skoolboi” as I was the youngest among the migrated Jamaican workforce. Instantaneously I began to create a distinction for myself at friend’s and family’s house parties, and social gatherings; where I began sampling Alternative Rock, Latin Beats, Pop Culture, and Afro Beats. My performance history ranges at various venues such as bars, night clubs, and lounges. I’ve also secured accredited performances at the Phoenix Caribbean Carnival and Hollywood International Carnival where I’ve committed the past three years to displaying the vast knowledge I have attained in deejaying. The creativity in scrambling music and finding rhythmic beats has inspired me to become an expertise at balancing each crowd and keeping people dancing on their feet all night. Over the last nine years, I have been on a journey to create a dynamic musical culture in the Phoenix Arizona area and generally wherever there is the need for my qualifications. Music is a transformational experience and I have been composing my transcript of skills such as beatmatching, phrasing, cueing, equalization and audio mixing. I am currently employed by PSAV Presentation Service as a Lead Audio Visual Technician. In addition, I have also made deejaying my viable business. As the owner of Alpha Style Entertainment; I have been making my mark in catering and meeting the demands of music at corporate events, weddings and private parties. At this time my areas of expertise includes but not limited to; Audio Visual Support, Live and Sound Engineering, My extensive knowledge and continuous drive to become greater in all aspects of my life has enabled me to implement this passion that can be heard and felt in my unique style of deejaying and drive to discover new and improving techniques.

IntransikBeats is a record label that aims to highlight raw and uncompromising Techno which displays a dark and gloomy musical image. Our network of like-minded people strives to innovate and contribute to a ever growing community of producers and artists, always remembering where we came from and where we want to be. Starting out as group of independent artists and DJs, involved in and fostering the alternative music scene in Shanghai, China where Intransik has been fortunate enough to be able to host events for many years. Sound design and audio engineering is an integral part of the team’s creative output. Naturally this curiosity in original soundtracks and post production lead to the involvement in creating and applying various sonic concepts to different media projects. We have made it our goal to try to capture the sound of these events and the musical output of the artists involved. This vision will be showcased on our label and upcoming vinyl releases starting, along with label events, art installations and various cross-media projects. ► IBR ARTISTS & REMIXERS Steven Lorenz (France) Vince Lorenz (France) CRCT-CTRL (United Kingdom) Nothing Is Real (Germany) 6SISS (Belgium) DE:MA (United Kingdom) Knobs (Italy) PETRU (Corsica) ► PODCASTS In order to be part of our Podcast series, you can contact us via Facebook or Email. ► EVENTS Coming back soon! ► A&R/DEMOS All Demos should be Exclusive, Private Soundcloud or Unlisted Youtube links. ‧ Unmastered MP3 Demos accepted ‧ Final Pre-master Tracks rendered in WAV format with 48khz sample rate and 24bit bitrate. ‧ Visual work rendered in H.264/MPEG-4 with a minimum 1080P resolution, 8Mps.
